Question about wedding band – What if the engagement ring is a band?

I am engaged to my fiance, another female. We had discussed rings before and she made it clear she wanted a platinum band with diamonds all the way around. That’s what I got, and she loved it. I have since gotten a beautiful one karat princess cut/platinum band.

Now we are looking at bands and I want a platinum band with diamonds, but she feels like that would make hers look "less special."

What can we get for her that would enhance her already beautiful ring? She doesn’t want just a plain band? What’s left, when she is already wearing a band?

My fiance is not at all about the look of her ring. She isn’t like that. But truth be told it’s a once in a lifetime thing and yes, I do want her to have a beautiful, sparkling set like mine. I don’t think that’s abnormal or shallow.

I think your wedding bands should match, personally I think that it`s more special.
