Does anyone know where to find a wedding band to match a three-stone engagement ring?

August 17, 2009

It’s been really difficult for me to find a match; my engagement ring is from Kay Jewelers, but they don’t have any wedding bands that go with it well.

My ring has all princess cut diamonds, a center stone, two smaller ones on each side, channel-set diamonds in the band, and a diamond on each side of the prong setting that makes the band a little wider at those points. Here’s a link… hopefully it works.

I know I need something curved, fitted, or notched to fit it right…

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Personally I am not a fan of the curved wedding bands. I actually sold this ring and would always recommend a band of channel set princess cut stones to match the sides. It looks beautiful. There will be a slight gap but no one will notice, and they will be blinded by all your pretty diamonds :) .

Take a peak at these:

Beautiful ring – lucky gal!

I definitely think you will need a slight curved band to fit with this because of the amount of claw setting. If your ring was like mine and only had the one claw, you could just get some of the claw shaved off to fit flush with the band you have picked out, but I believe this will be too difficult in your case.

Sorry, I cannot recommend any places as unfortunately I didn’t have to search high and low for a curved ring but I wish you luck!

Try bluenile.com. They have wedding bands, and will show you sets of engagement rings and bands, so you can find one that looks like the one you bought and see what they recommend as a matching band.

I think this ring is very pretty. It comes in 14k white or yellow gold, 18k white or yellow gold and platnum. 14k rings-$120, 18k rings-$165, and platnum rings-$550

you can do a regular silver band, you can do a band with diamonds, the choice is all up to you, thats why its our wedding ring, and its unique to our own style I would go with something like this

good luck and congrats

hey i have the same exact ring except i bought it from jb robinson. i got a band like this http://www.jbrobinson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=10051&categoryId=10118&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=10103&pageNo=1#
it doesn’t fit right up to the engagement ring perfectly, but i got the two rings soldered together (jb robinson did it for me for free) and now it looks like it fits perfectly.
or – jb robinson had some bands that are designed to fit up against the 3 stone rings. i didn’t see it on their website, but i was just in the store the other day getting my ring cleaned and i saw them there. kay jewlers might have them too. or zales. it looks just like the bands in the link except that it is slightly curved so that it will fit with the 3 stone ring.

I have a three-stone ring that curves out in the center due to the size of the center stone. I’m just planning to get a plain band – the gap is so small that no one will notice.

I’m not really a fan of curved bands.

You just need a plain band – chevron (vee-style) shaped, sometimes called wishbone, or an enhancer/guard.
